about 

hi i'm rachael, owner of rachael b pilates and the movement for life studio. i have worked with people of all ages and abilities, and I'm passionate about helping clients achieve their goals. pilates can transform your body and mind, and i'm dedicated to making the practice accessible to everyone.

I first met Rachael 20 months ago after struggling with lower back pain and sciatica and began 1:1 sessions with her that included both Mat and Reformer Pilates. After an initial session, she tailor made an exercise plan based on my individual needs which she has continued to alter and update as she assesses me each week.

She is a fantastic teacher; extremely knowledgeable, patient, encouraging and is great at explaining each move, position or stretch in a way that even a novice like myself can understand.

Her classes, which are conveniently on-line, are wonderful too. During these, Rachael is always careful to point out the correct technique for each exercise to avoid injury and also gives options for differing levels of ability making them suitable for everyone.

Rachael’s love of Pilates is infectious and I can honestly say that I am now a convert for life.
